HIPAA Compliance
HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is a federal privacy law created in 1996 that protects patients’ health information and sets standards for the electronic transmission of health data. It was created with the purpose of protecting patients’ personal health information, or PHI (Protected Health Information), and limiting who can access it to only those with a “need to know.”
HIPAA privacy regulations ensure that companies like Oculus Health Staffing and others alike have standards and procedures in place to safeguard your PHI. It also helps to reduce healthcare fraud and abuse by making sure your PHI stays in the hands of trusted professionals who have a need for this information, like physicians in charge of your care. Any PHI transmitted over SMS will comply with HIPAA standards and is limited to necessary communications only.

We value your privacy, and we will never sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Nonetheless, please note that we may need to share it with our trusted clients, partners, and regulatory authorities in certain circumstances. Phone numbers are strictly for communication purposes with Oculus Health Staffing and are not shared with third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes. We only share personal data with trusted partners and regulatory authorities as required by law.
At Oculus Health Staffing, we value your fundamental right to privacy, and we are strongly committed to implementing the necessary safeguards against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, loss, and breach.
